01Introduction and trading basics
2 chapitres · 2 h
The vocabulary, market mechanics and essential reference points before you trade.
Learn to link a release, a rate or a flow to the move it can trigger. The program gives you the method; the tools give you the data to check it.

Understand macroeconomics
Understand macroeconomics
You learn it by making decisions, then understanding why they were good or bad. Every concept follows the same three steps.
You read the framework in a written chapter, with examples on real data and their sources.
Faced with a release, an announcement or a shock, you take a position before knowing what happens next.
Every option is explained: the correction focuses on the reasoning, even when the result is right. Quizzes check what you've learned.
From the raw price to a complete trading plan, 54 chapters spread across eleven modules. They unlock with your access to the program, then you work through them at your own pace.

What you need to know to declare your gains properly, with no bad surprises.

I founded Macro Edge to bring together the method, the research and the tools that shaped my reading of the markets. The project is educational: it helps you reason with data, without promising results or giving investment advice.
The AMF certification attests to a level of regulatory knowledge. It is neither an endorsement of the program by the AMF nor a guarantee of performance.
Because many individuals approach Forex without the basics needed to understand what moves a currency. Since 12 October 2026, the entire program has been open, as some universities' online courses are: you learn the method and make it your own before deciding whether my tools are useful to you. Being open changes nothing about how demanding the content is: it is the same course as when the program was sold, written and interactive, with no videos or one-to-one coaching.
I have nothing to prove here. I'm not trying to build an image around past performance, account screenshots or promises of returns. I prefer to show my work concretely, my way of thinking and what I have learned. I master what I teach, but I also believe learning never stops. Markets change, knowledge deepens, mistakes teach, and there will always be something to question. That is exactly the approach I want to share: learn seriously, build a method, test it against the data and keep improving. Nothing published here is investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. I share a way of reading, not a promise of results.
The certification attests that I passed an exam on the basics of financial markets: instruments, participants, regulation and ethics. It doesn't give me adviser status and doesn't authorise me to manage anyone's money. It is simply one step among others in my path and in my commitment to mastering the fundamentals of the profession seriously.
The substance comes from my notes, my reading, my research and my mistakes. Claude's arrival let me go further on the form: structuring what was scattered, clarifying certain ideas and making the chapters more interactive. So if you sometimes recognise the hand of an AI tool, it's no surprise. It is my work, developed and reworked with this tool. I'd rather say so clearly than leave everyone to guess.
The site's public tools are free, with no account, and built from open sources. The terminal, however, is paid. That's deliberate: it consumes data every day, and its funding gives access to better sources, keeps the data up to date and lets me keep improving the tool. Paying for data and the work it takes, rather than for a promise: that's the model I find most honest.
I'm continuing my studies, I keep learning and I build this project alongside. I'm also working on raising capital to give it the means to go further. I don't see this project as something finished. It will evolve with the data, feedback from those who use it and everything I still have to learn. It will be better in six months than it is today. And that's exactly why I want feedback now.

No. The first modules lay the foundations: no prerequisites in reading charts or policy rates. If you already have experience, you can move faster through these concepts and go deeper into macro.
The format follows the subject: chapters to read, interactive pages and decision labs. You move from theory to a data point or a market situation, then to its interpretation.
Enrolment costs nothing. Since 12 October 2026, the program has been in open access: the 11 modules, the labs and the community open as soon as you create your account, with no bank card. The content is the same as when the program was sold.
No, and that's deliberate. A copied signal teaches you nothing and leaves you without an answer the day it's wrong. What is taught is the reading that lets you build your own decisions and know when you're wrong.
Yes, real ones, including losing all the capital committed. No result is guaranteed, and this program isn't personalised investment advice. Never put in money you need for anything else.
The site's macro tools remain free for everyone, with or without the program.
